Problem solved I thought. So I bought a Series X controller (waiting for that day regular people can buy one), purchased Game Pass Ultimate, and downloaded Oblivion. Things should be great. Sigh but they are not. The version of Oblivion in the Microsoft store does not work with our new XBox Series X controller. Skyrim does. This issue may occur because the game has detected that an Xbox 360 controller or another gamepad was connected to the computer during the initial startup of the game. Due to this, the game is defaulting to the controller instead of the keyboard and mouse. Follow the steps below to disable gamepad input.
